Testimonials
“Jesse Jones was the key note speaker at the Mississauga East Family of Schools (Dufferin-Peel CDSB) Diversity Conference. The conference’s goal was to engage grade 7 students with the idea that they all have talents and gifts that they bring to their schools and that is important to develop those talents to the best of their abilities.
As a key note speaker, Jesse’s message was well received by the staff and students in attendance. Student’s learned that they should figure out what direction they want to go in and surround themselves with the people and resources that will help them achieve their goals. I know that Jesse did reach students by the questions that they asked and the number of students that tried to speak to Jesse directly after his presentation.
I would recommend Jesse as a speaker with students. He is relevant and is able to connect with students and staff alike. His message is built around his own experience and he shares stories to support each of the three stages of his U-ology philosophy. I would gladly have him back as a speaker at future Diversity Conference. I think it is a message all of our intermediate kids need to hear.”
Sarah Calvert, Vice Principal, St. Thomas More
“Staff and students at Archbishop Romero were very impressed with Jesse’s powerful message. Students left the presentation feeling confident and refreshed knowing that they all had special attributes and talents to be recognized and celebrated. More importantly, students were inspired to embrace their potential and to act on opportunities presented to them. Jesse motivated students to recognize their interests and embark upon a pathway that will allow them to truly enjoy what they are doing and be proud of their accomplishments. After the presentation, students eagerly congregating around Jesse Jones; not only were they keen on his message, they were eager to continue the dialogue.”

“Jesse Jones was invited to St. Pat’s High School to address our student body, grades 10-12. The basis of his message was to motivate teenagers to find their passion and fulfill it. In today’s schools there is a huge emphasis on student success and the concept that all students have the ability to succeed. Jesse’s presentation aligned very nicely with this model, inspiring youth to realize their passions and work towards achieving them. Jesse was immediately able to captivate the student audience. He has a magnetic stage presence with the ability to inspire youth in a meaningful way. The attendees were actively listening and engaged throughout Jesse’s presentation. Jesse was able to parallel his message with his own success, and use his previous experiences to advocate for youth embracing their passion. Some comments from out students following the presentation: “Jesse made me realize I need to start taking school more seriously because it will get me to where I want to be in life,” “That presentation was the best, I really paid attention!”, “Someday I am going to be doing what I love,” “I’m gonna “keep going!”, “Can Jesse come to our class?”
Eleanor Wallace, Teacher and Student Success Advocate, St. Patrick’s High School Ottawa
“I applaud the great work and philosophy of U-ology 101 and Jesse Jones. To be willing to spread their message to the youth of today is critical. Their message of finding a passion and following that passion for life are essential. Their upbeat message and positive approach will serve our youth well. So many of young people today are pessimistic about the future and what it holds for them, U-ology 101 gives them a timely reflection on making their work choice a passion and a vocation that they love and can be enthused about their entire working career. Jesse is truly inspirational!”
Nick Milanetti, Superintendent Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board
“The message that Jesse Jones brings to the table is one that all high school, college, and university students need to hear. Jesse is a dynamic speaker that the kids can really relate to. His passion for the U-ology 101 message is infectious! Weeks later I still have students approaching me daily, telling me that they think about their ‘brand’ every day and feel empowered to go after their dreams!”

“Jesse gave an inspiring presentation that provided a great deal of insight and passion to the Delegates at the Conference. Overall, Jesse’s presentation was a memorable and powerful example of how uniting passion with work can produce amazing results, and was beneficial to both me and the rest of the QMAC Delegates in attendance.”
Don Burns, Delegate Coordinator Queen’s University Marketing Association Conference (QMAC)
“Corporate restructuring left me in search of a new job. That search landed me in what I had hoped to be an interesting and challenging position, but turned out to be a very unpleasant, toxic and abusive work environment. Being a 46 year old single mother meant feeling trapped in that dead-end miserable job in order to provide for my beautiful 11 year old son. Although I never saw myself as Jesse’s target audience, I quickly came to realize that his message and his words, are thought provoking and inspirational at any age! Jesse made me open my mind to the possibilities that the world had to offer – that were there for the taking if only I believed. And so I started to reframe my world, got out there and went after what I wanted. In one short month some amazing, positive things started to come my way, and in the end I received two wonderful job offers, one of which was with Canada’s #1 employer for 2010. But more importantly, I truly had options. Thanks to Jesse’s inspirational words, his enthusiasm and his encouragement, I started to believe in myself again, and realized that I CAN do anything I put my mind to, I CAN achieve my goals, and to NEVER stop believing in my dreams.”
